This past year we started construction in the new colonia of Antorcha 3. It is a brand new area where families have basically thrown shacks together out of scrap wood and plastic sheeting and have not had time to put money aside to better their lot in life. They were all living in desperate situations and we were so pleased when the government gave them the paperwork to make the land legally theirs and we were able to begin construction and improve their lives. Everyone remains eager to help in readying the lots, lay the slabs for themselves and their neighbors and assist in the construction and painting of homes.
