Most of the shakes in the book follow that simple formula. Of course there are some exceptions and it's still a great book to have around. One piece of advice I would give is to order Peanut Flour, and some Sugar free syrups like the ones used in coffee drinks in the same order with this book unless you have a sam's club or somewhere that sells that type of thing. Literally almost every recipe in the book calls for it.
An easy to read and follow book for everyone. This book is useful not only for bariatric patients. It should be used by anyone who is concerned with their health.

This is a great recipe book to have for those who need to use protein shakes. There are a lot of different flavored shake recipes included, as well as tips how to make them thicker or thinner, as well as how to successfully make hot shakes -- since the winter is too cold for the regular shakes! Plus there are coffee variations, too! It will take me weeks to try all the ideas in this book! I used the basic shake tips to improve the texture of the shake I make everyday, and it is 10 times better. The book also gave me inspriation to try a few ideas of my own using the sugar free syrups that I had bought but was never really sure about using them.
